"Tha Listening Session" is a new feature here at KeysAndBeats.com. In these Webisodes, our editor Futuredood takes a listen to new music posted up in the music showcase forum where he listens to beats, and gives his feedback on what he thinks about them. The goal of this is to give producers a visual, raw feedback of how someone would listen to their beat and critique them with no bias and an honest opinion.
If you'd like to get your beat reviewed, you can visit the Forums, and go to the "Music Showcase" forum where you can post up your beats. Futuredood will pick beats to review based on which producer has the most replies to his thread. In order to get more replies, it is a recommended that you leave comments for other producers and ask that they do the same for you. This way, everyone will spread feedback around.
The video is below is 30 minutes divided into three segments (since YouTube places a limit of 10 minutes per video). It is in HD format, so it may take a minute for your internet connection to load up the video. Grab some popcorn and a soda, and enjoy the only online Webisode for producers!
there is not much critique going on here. you basically say wack or good but without any basis. It'd be nice if you commented on choice of instruments, choice of drums, quality of sound, beat pattern, etc.

I have to say that you give your opinion yet all music is loop. So to say that it is not is a lie. How ever the only reason what i would never put my stuff on the site is that there is a lot of time and creation that goes into the music and someone will like it. not everyone but someone none the less.

Great Concept, but I would like to hear more critiquing from you and maybe a second opinion for someone else, and also specific reasons why you like or dislike the track. Thanks for this.

First of all, much props for this web-site and everything you do . The only problem is yeah, its nice to get your beats critiqued and you do a nice job. I just think everybody out there does this for the love of the music, but what is the ultimate goal? To make hit tracks in the hopes someone notices them and wants their beat. So what happens if you come across that beat that you know is a hit? Just sayin its dope is one thing. Maybe some info on what to do with your hot track. Patenting, marketing, things like that. What seperates a novice from a professional? Anymore anyone with a computer and a keyboard can make beats. Its who can make hits. Every top producer has that distinct sound/flavor that makes them unique. What are you lookin to hear I guess is my point and when you hear it then what?
