timbalandTimbaland, who is preparing to release his newest album Shock Value 2, recently spoke out on the CD and the first single, "Morning After Dark".

"My overall vision for Shock Value 2 was to make it better than the first one if I could," Timbo explained in an interview. "And it was a blessing, I got most of the artists I wanted to work with," he said of the guests that includes Estelle, Danja, Keri Hilson, Jonas Bros, Daughtry, Hollywood Undead, Jim Beanz, Amar, Justin Timberlake, Jay-Z, Usher, Chris Brown, Missy Elliot, Drake, Pharrell, and Sebastian. "The first single from Shock Value 2 is 'Morning After Dark,' the reason I picked 'Morning After Dark' for the first single is, that record has the most unique sound from the whole album. And when I kept looking at my new artist, SoShy, her whole image fits, like, that song where the song is kinda hard, but not hard, but sexy. She just fit in 'Morning After Dark,' she actually came up with the concept of the track. I had the track, but she came up with the concept and I had blended in the concept of wanting to be cool to make the hook kinda talking about a vampire...That is a Timbaland signature record."

drumma-boyA few weeks earlier, we heard from Cool & Dre and the amazing praise they had for The Game and his work ethic in the studio.  This past week, Drumma Boy also came out and priased The Game who he says is an incredible rapper in the studio.

"I did a record for Game called 'Pussy Fight," Drumma Boy told Vibe Magazine. "A lot of people been talking highly of that joint." According to the Memphis-born producer, Game's studio ethic is unparalleled. "I had a beat CD of 30 [tracks]. I pushed play on the first beat and he went straight in the booth and recorded the whole song before I could even go to number two," he recalls. "I go to number two and he go back in the booth do another song. I went back to number three, same thing. We went all the way to number eight.

timbaland1Chris Brown was supposed to be on a song on Timbalands upcoming album, Shock Value 2.  TMZ reported that it may have been due to all the drama that Chris Brown has been through this year with his negative publicity.  On the other hand, Timbaland's manager chimed in that it was a creative decision not to include Chris Brown on the album.  The song was originally titled Maniac, but then changed to The One I Love.

Eminem's Rap Group D12 Diss Towards Eminem: Fake

D12, the group formed by Eminem, recently had a song circulating on the internet that appeared to be a diss track towards Eminem.  It turns out they were tricked into doing the track.

Apparently, a rapper named DZK convinced them to do a song with him.  Little did they know that he was secretly aligned with Canibus, Eminem's rival.  Together DZK & Canibus took the acapella's from D12, and put out a diss track towards Eminem, making it sound like the entire song, including D12, was a diss towards Eminem.

It sounds like a plot out of a bad episode of some TV show.  It turns out that the only losers in this plot are DZK and Canibus.  One, they got caught pulling a bitch-move on their part, and second, nobody cares about DZK or Canibus anyways.

Producers take note of this and watch what you do with your acapellas!  Hear the entire song after the "Read More" link.
